3D Modeling ● 2D Textures ● UI
Boot'em Up is a four-week prototype made for class! In this game, players control a frog with guns strapped to his boots, shooting off bullets to attack enemies and gain altitude, making their way upwards through the well. The modular boot system allows for a variety of playstyles, from a few powerful, giant bullets to a spray of tiny ones that push the player up rapidly.

Take a look!

This was one of my first times 3D modeling, but since the goal is just to showcase a mechanic, it worked out just fine! I did get to design and model the player character and enemies, though—made in Maya.

User Interfaces
Since the modular boot bullet system was somewhat complex, I put a lot of time into make it as visually appealing and understandable as possible. I made the other menus as well.
